5+ years expTeal Energi is seeking a mid-career to senior-level SCADA Engineer / Systems Communications Engineer / Project Manager to support one of the largest offshore wind projects in the United States. This role focuses on multi-network SCADA systems, communications infrastructure, and integration of renewable generation assets.

Responsibilities
Lead and support multi‑network SCADA systems for inverter‑based resource generation
Troubleshoot and resolve communications issues across layered, multi‑site networks
Integrate supplier SCADA systems with utility network infrastructure
Provide engineering leadership across communications and controls scopes
Support commissioning, testing, and operational readiness
Participate in limited offshore support activities as needed
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of SCADA, communications engineering, or network integration experience
Experience with SCADA systems for inverter‑based generation (wind, solar, BESS, etc.)
Strong background with supplier‑side networks and utility interconnection
Strong troubleshooting abilities across independent communications networks
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
Leadership skills suitable for guiding complex technical scopes
Preferred
Offshore wind experience
Familiarity with SEMCO Maritime, SGRE, Vestas, GE, or similar suppliers
Knowledge of NERC‑CIP communications requirements and protocols
GWO (Global Wind Organisation) offshore safety/survival training
Not required upon hire; ability to obtain certification is acceptable
