Public Relations Fellow
HAUS is the world’s first integrated public relations and creative services agency purpose built for deep tech startups and scaleups. They are seeking a Public Relations Fellow to assist with media monitoring, research projects, and drafting PR materials while contributing to client projects and developing professional skills.

Responsibilities
Assist with daily media monitoring and compile news clips relevant to clients and their industries
Support research projects including media list building, journalist research, and competitive analysis
Help draft basic PR materials such as media alerts, social media content, and internal documents
Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and meeting preparation
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas and observations
Conduct research on emerging technology trends, startup ecosystem developments, and media landscape
Help maintain media databases by updating contact information and tracking journalist beats
Support the preparation of client reports, coverage summaries, and presentation materials
Assist with social media monitoring and content tracking for client accounts
Learn PR fundamentals through mentorship, training sessions, and exposure to client work
Shadow senior team members during media pitching, client calls, and strategic planning sessions
Help coordinate logistics for interviews, events, and client activities
Contribute to internal agency projects and initiatives
Take on additional projects and responsibilities as skills develop throughout the fellowship
Qualification
Required
You are a recent graduate (within 12 months) of an undergraduate or graduate program in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field
Strong interest in public relations and technology sector
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Eager to learn with proactive, can-do attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced startup environment
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
Must love deep tech
Preferred
Previous internship experience in PR, communications, marketing, or related field
Journalism coursework or experience writing for student publications
Interest in or coursework related to technology, computer science, or emerging tech fields
Active on social media with understanding of digital platforms and trends
Experience with content creation (blogging, video, podcasting, etc.)
Involvement in campus communications, PR clubs, or related extracurricular activities
Familiarity with the startup ecosystem or venture capital landscape
Strong writing portfolio from academic work, personal projects, or publications
Basic understanding of media landscape and how news works
Demonstrated curiosity about artificial intelligence, robotics, biotech, or other frontier technologies
