Responsibilities
Perform repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting and basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC
Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures
Assist in preparing vacant apartments for turn ready status in accordance with company standards
Maintain grounds and curb appeal through landscaping and trash management activities
Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and needs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years' experience in HVAC, basic electrical, basic plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, etc. preferably in residential or affordable housing maintenance
Driver's license required
Prior experience with REAC, INSPIRE
Basic familiarity with use of computers and technology. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications
Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers in a professional, service oriented, respectful manner using skills in active listening and problem solving
Preferred
Bilingual in English/Spanish/Korean
