Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java
Build and execute automated test scripts for web and backend applications
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and design test strategies
Ensure test coverage and improve code quality and performance
Troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, and support defect management
Contribute to best practices in test automation, performance testing, and continuous testing
Qualification
Required
experience with Java and object-oriented programming
Experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc
Proficient in testing REST APIs using tools such as RestAssured or Postman
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a plus
