Responsibilities

Help make the technologies, products and services that make a difference

Consulting and collaborating with business leaders, end users, IT staff, vendors and other third parties

Job automation, running batch jobs, running SQL scripts, reviewing logs, system and application monitoring, maintenance, patch management, software upgrades, file transfers, backups, incident/problem troubleshooting and support

Operational support responsibilities including application maintenance, application configuration and performance tuning, account management, installation of software upgrades, user support, and systems monitoring

Ensure that the application layer is optimally configured for seamless integration and operability with OS, database, middleware, network, web services, and other interrelated technological components

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Administration, and/or related field or equivalent experience, plus 2 years of related experience or Master's degree

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire

U.S. citizenship is required

Strong experience supporting critical application software (local, network installed and SaaS) to include troubleshooting, research, ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, and maintain procedural documentation

Comprehensive knowledge on server architecture and understanding of virtualization technologies, storage systems, enterprise security practices, and replication technologies
