GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a detail-driven CAD Operator to join their Architectural and Engineering team. This role involves designing and overseeing drawings for new locations and remodel projects, collaborating with internal and external design resources throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Produce precise 2D and 3D designs according to project leader’s specifications, converting hand-drawn sketches into digital formats
Work closely with internal team members, engineers, and architects to discuss design concepts and incorporate feedback into drawings
Update models and drawings throughout construction or manufacturing to reflect changes, ensuring they comply with industry standards and regulations
Keep accurate records of all drawings and manage drawing archives securely

Qualification

AutoCADRevitDrafting techniquesAttention to detailCommunication skillsProblem-solving abilities

Required

An associate's degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field
Additional courses in CAD software are required, or 5 years of experience
Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, or Revit
A solid understanding of drafting techniques and engineering terminology
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical aspects clearly to team members and clients
Creative and critical thinking skills to support the project team during design
