Director of Sales - Hotel and Banquet Facilities
Nesco Resource is seeking a highly driven and experienced Director of Sales for a new Boutique Hotel and Event Space located in North Brunswick, NJ. The role involves developing and soliciting business from various markets to ensure successful hotel operations and maximizing revenues through strategic sales efforts.

Responsibilities
The development and solicitation of business from all markets to ensure the necessary bookings needed for successful and profitable operation of the hotel
Work closely with Management to determine appropriate sales strategies in the market segment towards maximizing the hotels revenues
Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability in the sales department
Read and understanding hotel sales reports, revenue reports, data collection, budgeting, forecasting, marketing plans and action plans
Work laterally with the Director of Catering and the catering team
Flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
Qualification
Required
5 + years of direct hotel sales experience (Corporate, SMERF, Government, and Social)
Matured relationships with established key accounts in the market
The development and solicitation of business from all markets to ensure the necessary bookings needed for successful and profitable operation of the hotel
Work closely with Management to determine appropriate sales strategies in the market segment towards maximizing the hotels revenues
Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability in the sales department
Read and understanding hotel sales reports, revenue reports, data collection, budgeting, forecasting, marketing plans and action plans
Work laterally with the Director of Catering and the catering team
Flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
Professional demeanor with ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly
Organized with great time management skills
Great prospecting and closing skills, with an expert level of sales process and procedural knowledge
Positive attitude and sales spirit with an understanding of sales culture and direct involvement with implementing this culture throughout the hotel team
