This resource will directly enhance the Makerspace’s ability to prototype, innovate, and produce market-ready inventions

By bridging the gap between conceptual ideas and physical prototypes, this role supports faster iteration cycles, increases patentable outputs, and drives tangible innovation outcomes

Enhanced Prototyping: Expertise in robotics, circuits, and oscilloscopes to rapidly build and test prototypes, reducing hardware limitations

Innovation Unleashed: Experience with breadboards, circuit design, and robotics to enable the exploration of complex and ambitious projects

IP Generation: Ability to create functional prototypes that generate more opportunities for patentable inventions and strengthen the IP portfolio

AI Integration: Capability to integrate AI into robotics and electrical systems, advancing the Makerspace's role in intelligent hardware solutions

Licensing Potential: Development of commercially viable inventions that expand licensing opportunities and create new revenue streams

Corporate Development: Creation of demonstrable hardware innovations that increase partnership potential and corporate attractiveness

Ideal candidates will have both engineering and hands-on prototyping experience as defined above

Location flexibility between Plano, TX, and San Antonio, TX access the strongest available talent
