Change & Communications Specialist
DTI (Diversified Technology Inc.) is an African American owned IT Consulting/Staffing firm based in Chicago's Loop. They are seeking a Change & Communications Specialist to support a major public utility client in San Antonio, TX, focusing on driving organizational readiness and effective communication for an enterprise-wide ERP implementation.

Responsibilities
Develop and lead comprehensive communication strategies that drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of ERP and business transformation initiatives across all levels of the organization
Craft clear, compelling, and audience-specific communications—including emails, newsletters, intranet articles, leadership updates, FAQs, and visual content—to ensure consistent and effective messaging
Design and manage a detailed communications plan aligned with project milestones, proactively identifying opportunities to inform, engage, and support stakeholders throughout the transformation journey
Partner closely with project leadership and Change Management team to ensure seamless integration of communications with change management activities and to reinforce key messages
Establish feedback mechanisms (e.g., surveys, focus groups, workshops) to monitor communication effectiveness, gather insights, and continuously refine messaging strategies
Support change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement planning, and readiness activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Organizational Change, or related field
7+ years of experience in communications and change management, preferably supporting ERP or enterprise transformation programs
Proven success managing large-scale communication plans and executing across multiple channels
Exceptional writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred
Experience working in utilities or adjacent industries (energy, manufacturing, public sector) strongly preferred
