Akkodis is seeking an SAP Data Architect for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. This role leads to the design of SAP’s enterprise data foundation, requiring deep expertise in SAP master and transactional data domains.

Responsibilities

Build and manage the SAP data foundation by defining how enterprise SAP systems store, share, and govern trusted data
Develop reference data architectures in collaboration with application, analytics, integration, platform, and security teams
Ensure enterprise data is consistent, governed, and discoverable to support analytics and AI use cases
Utilize SAP Business Data Cloud, Datasphere, and MDG to unify data landscapes and eliminate redundant data copies
Define and maintain common data models and catalogs to drive a shared understanding of core business data
Strengthen enterprise data governance by evolving standards for data ownership, metadata management, quality, and lineage

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related technical field
10+ years of experience working with SAP data, data architecture, or enterprise data management
Strong hands‑on expertise with SAP MDG, Business Data Cloud, BW, and Datasphere to design and govern enterprise data solutions
Proven ability to develop scalable data architectures that support analytics, AI, and cross‑platform (SAP and non‑SAP) integration needs
