Responsibilities
Serve as a chief retention and safety officer
Select, hire, coach, develop, and evaluate staff performance
Cultivate a respectful, collaborative workplace and partner with providers to ensure effective team dynamics
Analyze and manage the practice's financial resources
Develop and manage the operational budget
Use lean and quality skills to improve clinical systems, reduce waste, and achieve business goals
Oversee staff competencies in safe, quality care delivery and uphold the highest professional standards
Collaborate with quality and clinical departments to improve patient outcomes
Drive operational effectiveness to meet patient experience goals
Understand and communicate the health system's strategic vision
Align practice goals to advance quality and service
Ensure the practice meets all licensure, regulatory, and accreditation standards, proactively managing risk and compliance
Promote evidence-based practice and performance improvement
Use data and technology effectively to support clinical and operational decision-making
Maintain own clinical competencies to assist with direct patient care when needed
Qualification
Required
Registered Nurse (RN)
Practice/Clinic Management
Ambulatory/Outpatient Care
Leadership
Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or a Multi-State Compact RN license (eNLC) with privilege to practice in Georgia
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or a healthcare-related field from an accredited university is required
BLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire
Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in nursing management or supervision required
Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship-building skills
Proven leadership abilities in change management, coaching, and inspiring teams
Strong business acumen, including budget management and operational strategy
Must be proficient with data, technology, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of risk management, accreditation standards, and healthcare financing is essential
Preferred
Experience in a cardiovascular or specialty ambulatory practice setting is highly preferred
