Senior IT Specialist
Cynet Systems is a confidential company seeking a Senior IT Specialist to support application development and modernization initiatives. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and Agile teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions, particularly within State and Government healthcare environments.

Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, and maintain applications aligned with organizational goals
Collaborate with stakeholders and Agile team members to deliver secure configurations from inception to completion
Provide support and troubleshooting for development issues during testing
Test incremental components and provide feedback to vendors
Monitor application environments to ensure system health, uptime, and performance
Monitor APIs and integrations
Assist with functional and integrated testing
Prepare and maintain project documentation, analysis, reports, and user documentation
Support required system go-live activities
Attend project meetings and own SCRUM ceremonies and deliverables
Assess and re-engineer small-scale .NET applications into modern platforms while preserving business logic
Document current business processes in legacy applications and translate them into modern workflows
Execute SQL Server to Azure Cloud migrations ensuring data integrity and performance
Transition SAS or Access reports into automated Power BI dashboards
Perform other project-related work as required under project leadership direction
Qualification
Required
Experience configuring and building complex workflow automation applications using low-code/no-code platforms
Experience developing custom objects, workflows, validations, business rules, and trigger notifications
Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and processes
Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies, tools, and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
Prior experience working within State/Government ecosystems, preferably Healthcare, Mental Health, Medicare, or Medicaid
Experience working on projects with tight deadlines and fixed budgets
Experience with software implementation projects and cloud technologies
Experience moving on-prem SQL Server databases to Azure Cloud, including schema migration, ETL, and validation
Experience migrating SAS or Access-based reports into Power BI dashboards
Experience creating dashboards and reports
Experience with integration tools such as Boomi
Experience with data conversion
Experience managing and maintaining Active Directory integrations, importing users and attributes, and supporting SSO integrations
Experience with SharePoint end-user experience including sites, libraries, lists, and groups
Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, and Blob Storage
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred
System Administrator or Developer certifications
Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, and Project
Experience with platforms such as Power Apps, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or SimpliGov
