Howmet Aerospace is seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join their team as Process Engineer Interns. These positions will assist engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and delivery performance through process control and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Assist engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and delivery performance through process control and improvement initiatives
Participate in structured hands-on training involving plant tours, lunch & learn seminars, fun networking events, and projects selected to add direct value to the business
Present projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors at the conclusion of the program

Required

Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution (by May 2026)
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in engineering in one of the following disciplines: Materials Science, Metallurgical, Ceramic, or Chemical
Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
Strong organizational skills
Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus
