Responsibilities

Own P&L for the Permitting division; ensure profitability and cost control

Establish and maintain permitting and engineering processes that meet regulatory and client requirements

Oversee multi-channel design center operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and turnaround standards

Align permitting operations with organizational growth goals and market expansion strategies

Drive innovation through automation and process optimization to reduce cycle times and improve compliance

Partner with Business Development to identify new service offerings and revenue streams

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, ROW agents, and permitting specialists

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centric service

Serve as the primary liaison with municipalities, DOTs, and telecom carriers

Resolve escalations and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Develop and monitor KPIs for productivity, quality, and turnaround time

Utilize corporate approved tools for data analysis and reporting

Provide weekly operational reports and ad-hoc analysis to senior leadership

Demonstrates ability to lead multi-state teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders

Builds trust and credibility with government agencies and telecom clients

Implements scalable processes and automation strategies

Maintains compliance with permitting standards

Aligns operational decisions with long-term business objectives

Identifies market trends and proactively adjusts strategies

Deep knowledge of OSP engineering, permitting processes, and fiber network design

Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, and GIS tools

Delivers 'White Glove Service' to clients

Resolves issues promptly and maintains high customer satisfaction
