The Community Development Coordinator will develop and maintain relationships with community partners, organize events, manage communications, and identify growth opportunities to expand HIA's presence and support its mission.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with community partners
Organize events and initiatives to engage stakeholders
Manage communications and outreach efforts
Identify opportunities for growth and funding
Work to expand HIA’s presence while upholding the organization's mission to foster recovery and support for individuals and families impacted by addiction

Required

Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage community stakeholders and build relationships
Experience in event coordination, project management, and organizing community-based initiatives
Knowledge of nonprofit operations, fundraising, and grant writing as an asset to securing resources and support
Proficiency in digital communication, including social media management and email marketing
Strong organizational abilities, multitasking skills, and attention to detail for managing multiple projects and deadlines
Passion for community development and a strong commitment to the mission of addiction recovery and support
Relevant experience in a similar role or nonprofit environment is an advantage
