Sr. Strategic Account Manager

Vanguard Soap is seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Account Manager to lead key customer partnerships and drive growth within their soap and personal care manufacturing business. This role involves managing complex accounts, overseeing a team of Program Managers, and ensuring the successful execution of customer programs.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for assigned strategic accounts
Identify new business opportunities, expand product offerings, and support long-term supply agreements
Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers in Purchasing, Operations, and R&D
Understand customer needs and challenges to deliver tailored product and service solutions
Directly supervise a small team of Program Managers responsible for daily account support
Set expectations, coach team members, and oversee performance to drive operational excellence
Ensure program execution accuracy-timelines, order requirements, communication, and coordination
Partner with R&D, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Finance to meet customer requirements
Communicate forecasts, product updates, and customer feedback to internal teams
Monitor account metrics related to sales performance, service levels, and customer satisfaction
Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates to leadership
Drive continuous improvement across customer account processes

Required

Experience as a Senior Strategic Account Manager or similar role

Ability to identify new business opportunities and expand product offerings
Understanding of customer needs and challenges
Ability to deliver tailored product and service solutions
Experience in monitoring account metrics related to sales performance, service levels, and customer satisfaction
Ability to provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates to leadership
Experience in driving continuous improvement across customer account processes
