Responsibilities
Guide and support branch management and staff on accounting and administrative policies
Communicate with vendors and legal for contracts; maintain subcontractor database
Manage monthly closing for the Dallas office and report to branch management
Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and account reconciliations
Manage fixed asset purchases/disposals and report to head office
Coordinate staffing processes: recruiting, hiring, onboarding
Assist with DOT compliance using JJ Keller’s Encompass system
Handle employee relations, ensuring fair treatment and legal compliance
Escalate employee relations issues to management or regional HR as needed
Ensure payroll and timesheets are accurate and finalized
Qualification
Required
1–3 years administrative experience
3–5 years accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
High level of confidentiality
Knowledge of regulatory compliance (DOT, TSA, OSHA)
Excellent English communication skills
Preferred
SAP knowledge is a plus
