Senior Project Scheduler (Job No. 42-011626-1)
Nuclear Energy Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to support the execution of complex nuclear projects. This role involves developing and analyzing project schedules using Primavera P6, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with PMO standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Project Schedules
Create, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
Ensure alignment with project scope, budget, and resource plans
Integrate Schedules Across Programs
Consolidate multiple project schedules into integrated master schedules
Coordinate dependencies and interfaces between projects
Perform Schedule Analysis
Conduct critical path analysis, float analysis, and risk assessments
Identify schedule variances and recommend corrective actions
Support Project Controls
Collaborate with cost engineers and project managers to align schedule and cost data
Provide earned value analysis and progress reporting
Ensure Compliance with PMO Standards
Apply PMO governance, scheduling standards, and best practices
Maintain consistency in coding structures, calendars, and resource assignments
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required
A minimum of 10 years of full-time working experience in project scheduling within large-scale projects or programs (preferably in energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors), with at least 5 of those years working with Primavera P6, is required
Must have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an emphasis on coordinating conflicting demands and priorities and the ability to manage complex programs/projects with multiple work phases
Must be able to demonstrate strong technical writing skills with excellent communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills
Eligible to work under Department of Energy regulation 10 CFR, Part 810
Preferred
An advanced degree is preferred
Experience in nuclear power plant outages or nuclear projects
