Responsibilities
Administer and optimize our multi-account AWS Cloud Organization
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodeDeploy; assist in migrating existing pipelines from Jenkins
Regularly patch and update RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, Redis clusters, and other key systems
Mentor engineers and champion DevOps maturity, architectural consistence, and scalable infrastructure patterns through well-structured testing and documentation
Contribute to a collaborative, transparent engineering culture that values speed, quality, and craftsmanship
Participate in an on-call rotation with the expectation of minimal after-hours responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with AWS services in a Solutions Architect, Account Administrator, or similar role
Proficiency with IAM policies and role-based access control (especially IAM Identity Center)
Experience with S3 lifecycle policies, storage class management, and cost optimization
Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
Experience with RDS Aurora PostgreSQL: backup, scaling, and performance tuning
Proficiency with event-driven architecture using AWS EventBridge and SNS
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed) and ArgoCD
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Strong proficiency with GitHub Actions workflows and advanced configurations
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
Experience automating deployments and environment provisioning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Preferred
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Developer)
Experience with AWS Control Tower for multi-org account management
Familiarity with Redis (ElastiCache or self-hosted)
Experience with Databricks or other data warehousing tools
Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and tooling
Experience with Serverless Framework
Familiarity with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Vercel, and Tailwind
Experience with Datadog for monitoring, alerting, dashboarding, and log pipelines
Experience building or training generative AI tools, LLMs, or chatbots
