The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Technology Manager for BYU-Pathway to lead technical operations across its Global Education Centers. This role involves overseeing the implementation and management of technology systems to support educational operations globally.

Responsibilities

Train and support GEC Technology Coordinators (TCs) in all aspects of GEC technology operations, including hardware setup, software deployment, and troubleshooting
Develop, refine, and enforce technology standards across all GECs. Lead the technical setup and launch of new centers to ensure full compliance with organizational standards
Oversee daily technology operations at GECs, working closely with TCs to resolve issues efficiently and improve overall system performance
Host regular meetings with TCs to share lessons learned, surface challenges, and disseminate best practices across the global network
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to manage technology-related projects, deployments, and upgrades
Oversee GEC technology hardware and software budgets

Required

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Management, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of experience in IT operations, technology training, or systems administration
Ability to provide highly available business-class internet service
Ability to deploy and manage Windows and Chrome computers
Experience working across multiple remote locations or international teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team

Preferred

Experience in educational technology environments
Experience working in or supporting operations in Africa or the Philippines
Understanding of African and Filipino cultures
French and/or Portuguese language proficiency
Experience with Faronics and Skedda software solutions
Experience managing relationships with technology vendors
