Responsibilities

Maintain inventory of equipment
Maintain general Lab tidiness and organization
Provide hands-on assistance to local and remote staff with
Installation/removal/upgrades/reconfiguration/troubleshooting of optical transport equipment
Other duties as required

Required

Candidate should be working towards a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Photonics and Optical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university or college in the United States
Maintain inventory of equipment
Maintain general Lab tidiness and organization
Provide hands-on assistance to local and remote staff with installation/removal/upgrades/reconfiguration/troubleshooting of optical transport equipment
General Office suite familiarity
Familiarity with general computing concepts
Experience with IP networking
Experience with Windows and Linux
Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Preferred

Experience with scripting or other programming languages such as python, go, etc
