Responsibilities

Perform electrical and mechanical repairs using mechanical drawings, schematics, and circuit location plans
Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions in LRV control circuits and components; determine corrective actions
Operate shop machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
Adhere to company and industry safety standards, rules, and procedures
Communicate technical information, job recommendations, and work-related updates clearly, both verbally and in writing
Collaborate and assist team members as needed
Read, interpret, and maintain written or electronic documentation; compile accurate reports
Utilize Portable Test Units (PTUs) and laptops to troubleshoot onboard LRV systems

Required

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Strong proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting
Valid driver's license in good standing
Must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the Siemens vehicle plan
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Preferred

College degree preferred
1–5 years of experience with light rail electrical systems; familiarity with SIBAS preferred
Skilled in static and dynamic testing using MEX tools
