Responsibilities

Performs tasks under guidance

Provides professional knowledge and expertise in the operation and support of environmental health and safety programs in compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and institutional policies, NAVAIRINST 3710.1 series (Contractor's Flight and Ground Operations), and DFARS 252.228-7001

Provides coordination and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment in the areas of aviation material readiness, radiation safety, biological and chemical safety, environmental protection, physical safety, hangar safety, industrial hygiene, fall protection, and other safety procedures and processes in support of departmental and institutional safety programs

Performs Inspection and Quality Assurance (QA) for contractor programs applicable to the contract
