Responsibilities
Interpret business needs and document user and technical requirements
Contribute to project planning and requirement development activities
Provide strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to analysts
Facilitate requirement analysis and verification sessions
Track open issues and assist with resolution planning
Ensure design aligns with user requirements through development and design review sessions
Lead user acceptance testing activities, documentation, and release
Identify gaps in requirements and system performance and coordinate corrective actions
Create and distribute formal communication for stakeholders
Troubleshoot system, software, and process issues, and propose solutions or workarounds
Review, analyze, and document business systems and processes
Write clear and standardized documentation
Develop key project deliverables for high-complexity initiatives
Monitor and report project status, identify risks, and ensure deliverables meet timelines and quality standards
Coordinate projects from concept to implementation and manage new work requests
Research and provide answers to policy-related inquiries
Qualification
Required
Ability to gather, elicit, create, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements
Ability to provide oversight, coaching, mentoring, and delegation to lower-level analysts
Ability to track and manage open issues and assist in planning resolutions
Ability to ensure design meets user requirements and support successful development sessions and design reviews
Ability to document, verify, and release user acceptance testing
Ability to identify and document system gaps, deficiencies, and coordinate resolutions
Ability to create stakeholder communications and provide training to end users
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve high-complexity technical, system, or business issues
Ability to develop and maintain clear and organized documentation
Ability to monitor project status, identify risks, and ensure timely deliverables
Ability to answer policy-related questions requiring research and collaboration
Progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing, or other analytical roles
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize stakeholder meetings
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to train and mentor others
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, or a related field
Preferred
Master's degree (MBA) preferred
Ability to lead delivery of high-quality, effective, and timely deliverables
Strong knowledge of business analysis core competencies
Prior experience coaching and mentoring business analysts
