Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development
Assist in litigation processes by preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
Conduct depositions, discovery and appear at Motion and court appearances
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the California bar
Proven experience in legal research, writing and court appearances in liability, employment or subrogation matters
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary
Preferred
0-2 years of litigation experience for civil liability defense, employment law defense, workers' compensation subrogation, LHWCA defense and workers' compensation practice areas
Excellent research, writing and oral advocacy skills
Ability to effectively negotiate and advocate for clients
