Early Employment Internship (Fall 2025) - UNPAID
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to humanitarian crises globally and is seeking an Early Employment Intern to assist clients in securing jobs. The role involves collaborating with Employment Specialists to provide job readiness training, resume creation, and employer engagement to support clients in their employment journey.

Responsibilities
Research potential employer partners, conduct outreach, and track partnerships
Research job opportunities and track open positions and trends
Create resumes by working one-on-one with clients
Assist clients in filling out online and paper applications
Accompany clients for job interviews and employment orientations
Provide bus orientation for clients
Provide general administrative support
Qualification
Required
Strong interest in working with international clients
Proficiency with resume writing and other employment related activities
Proven ability to work with consideration and respect for differences in global backgrounds and experiences
Excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to work independently
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs and internet research
Enthusiasm for helping people to learn and demonstrated professionalism
Interns must be able to commit to at least 15 hours a week for at least three months
Preferred
Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle
