They are seeking a senior-level Project Engineer to join their dynamic water/wastewater team in Panama City, responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects

Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation

Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper completion

Leading design and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations for pipeline, lift station, and Water/Wastewater treatment, system components

Work with senior staff to identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies if needed

Ensures that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards

Prepares and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, schedules, and status updates

Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper managements and clients

Required

Proficiency with AuroCAD, MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software's platforms

Ability to exercise critical thinking and good independent judgement

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Knowledge of codes and design and construction practices

B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering

P.E. license in the state of Florida

Minimum 5+ years of experience with municipal utilities, stormwater design, or water/wastewater treatment systems

Strong knowledge of engineering principals and industry standards as it relates to pipelines, lift stations, pumps, water lines, stormwater systems, and water/wastewater treatment facilities
