Aircraft Mechanic (Avionics) - Level 4
Lockheed Martin is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Mechanic to join their dedicated aviation maintenance team specializing in the F-35 fighter jet. In this role, you will ensure the operational excellence and safety of the fleet through comprehensive maintenance and repair operations.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive maintenance, repair, launch, and recovery operations on F-35 aircraft, maintaining the highest standards of mechanical integrity and flight safety
Follow Joint Technical Data (JTD) and all related program and service guidelines to perform maintenance, inspections, and servicing tasks
Engage in and support Field-Level Modifications and Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTD) maintenance initiatives, ensuring aircraft meet all technical and safety standards
Coordinate and assign maintenance tasks among team members, optimizing workflow and efficiency
Provide On-The-Job training to both team members and partner maintenance personnel, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing
Keep meticulous records of aircraft status and maintenance actions within the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), ensuring data accuracy and compliance
Regularly update the Production team on aircraft availability and readiness, ensuring seamless operations
Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Associate Aircraft Maintenance Manager, contributing to team and mission success
Qualification
Required

Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist
Confined Space Entry
Preferred
An FAA aircraft and Power Plant Mechanic license is desirable
Experience as an On-The-Job trainer
Proficiency with LM's F-35 Nose-to-Tail maintenance concept
Engine Run Certification, fighter aircraft crew escape systems (i.e. canopy and ejection seat), experience in fighter weapons loading and experience in structural repairs and low observable
