They are seeking a tenure track assistant professor of chemistry responsible for teaching General Chemistry, Analytical and Physical Chemistry, mentoring undergraduate research students, and conducting research leading to publication.

Responsibilities
Teaching 21 credits of lectures and labs in the areas of General Chemistry as well as Analytical and Physical Chemistry (for biochemistry majors)
Mentoring undergraduate research students
Conducting their own research leading to publication in peer review journals
Qualification
Required
PhD in bio-Analytical, Analytical, Physical Chemistry, or related discipline required
Experience with 'active learning' in both an online and face to face modality (preferably at smaller institutions)
Demonstrates analytical and organizational skills necessary to plan, implement and evaluate educational activities to assure compliance with established goals and objectives
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, necessary to interact effectively with all university constituents
