The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of material procurement, negotiate with vendors, oversee accounts payable processes, and implement AI technology to enhance office functions.

Responsibilities
Source, negotiate, and purchase materials required for various projects
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand material requirements and timelines
Maintain relationships with existing vendors and identify new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to optimize costs and project schedules
Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors
Prepare and maintain records of accounts payable transactions within our foundation accounting software
Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls in the accounts payable process
Identify opportunities to leverage AI technology and automation tools to improve efficiency in purchasing and accounts payable processes
Collaborate with VP of operations to implement and optimize software solutions for office automation and data management
Provide training and support to staff on using new technology platforms effectively
Qualification
Required
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships
Knowledge of business accounting
Familiarity with technology and comfortable learning new software
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
