Education Management
Responsibilities
Provide instructional leadership for the Math and Science department, ensuring alignment with state standards, district goals, and best practices
Supervise, support, and evaluate department staff through meaningful observations, feedback, and coaching cycles
Supervise, support, and evaluate department staff through purposeful observations, coaching, and feedback focused on continuous improvement
Partner with teachers to analyze student performance data and design targeted instructional strategies and interventions
Support the integration of inquiry-based learning, problem-solving, and real-world applications into classroom instruction
Facilitate professional learning communities (PLCs) that promote collaboration, reflective practice, and continuous growth
Serve as a key thought partner to school leadership in advancing schoolwide instructional initiatives and improvement goals
Champion equitable access to advanced coursework and high-quality instruction for all students
Collaborate with families, student services, and community partners to support student success and academic progress
Qualification
Required
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with General Administrative Endorsement
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum leadership, instructional coaching, and teacher evaluation
Strong background in Mathematics and/or Science instruction
Knowledge of data-driven instructional practices and assessment literacy
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to equity-driven leadership and closing achievement gaps
