Chief Operating Officer (COO) – BPO/Outsourcing

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for translating company strategy into disciplined execution across operations, commercial growth, workforce strategy, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations across all client programs, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds SLAs
Design and implement scalable operating models, policies, and governance structures
Establish performance management frameworks tied to quality, productivity, and margin targets
Own operational KPIs and report regularly to the CEO on performance and risks
Partner with the CEO on sales strategy execution, pipeline management, and client onboarding readiness
Lead pricing strategy, contract structuring, and commercial negotiations
Drive client retention and expansion through delivery excellence and proactive account management
Support new client launches from scoping through go-live
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls to support growth while maintaining discipline
Monitor unit economics, margins, and profitability by client and service line
Identify and act on opportunities to improve operational efficiency
Provide executive oversight of recruiting, workforce planning, and leadership development
Build a management structure capable of scaling without degrading service or culture
Foster a performance-driven, accountable leadership culture across all levels

Required

10+ years of progressive leadership in BPO, contact center operations, or outsourced services
Demonstrated success scaling operations in a high-growth, multi-client environment
Strong commercial acumen — hands-on experience with pricing, contracts, and client negotiations
Proven ability to build operational structure from early-stage or startup conditions
Experience leading cross-functional teams (operations, workforce, client management)
Bachelor's degree required
Executive presence and credibility with clients, partners, and senior stakeholders

MBA or equivalent
