Head of Production
Huffman Creative is an award-winning production studio specializing in scalable cinematic content for brands and creatives. As the Head of Production, you will lead projects from client engagement through production wrap, ensuring high-quality execution and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Lead the execution of projects from initial client engagement through production wrap
Draft and submit client ballparks, bids, and revisions throughout the development process with brands and agencies
Craft bid packages including bid letters, calendars, portfolio examples, and related materials, following industry best practices while aligning with the company’s collaborative production model
Ensure productions are compliant with legal requirements, industry standards, and internal best practices, while proactively flagging shifts or considerations that impact execution
Manage production calendars, review schedules, and actively protect deadlines
Lead day to day client communications around logistics, timelines, and revisions during the pre-award phase
Onboard and supervise freelance producers, coordinators, and crew as projects require
Oversee director slates and creative research, including casting, collaborators, and emerging trends
Oversee the treatment development process alongside directors
Review wrap books and ensure accurate handoff to accounting, including petty cash, receipts, tax forms, payroll processing, and evaluations
Ensure all post-production needs are accounted for during production, maintaining continuity of client notes and expectations when handing off to the post producer
Build and maintain a roster of vetted industry professionals across a range of production types
Help maintain and improve internal workflow documents and templates, contributing to a streamlined and organized production process
Support additional duties as needed in a fast-moving production environment
Qualification
Required
4 to 6 years of producing experience in commercial, branded, music video, or agency-side environments
Based in Los Angeles or open to relocating
Deep experience bidding commercial work with agencies or direct to brand
Confident presenting to clients, leading conversations, and clearly articulating production approaches when needed
