Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for external audit firms
Manage audit timelines, requests, and deliverables end-to-end
Review and validate audit support schedules, working papers, and documentation
Oversee and support monthly and period-end close activities as needed
Prepare and review financial reports required for regulatory and compliance purposes
Ensure accuracy and consistency across general ledger, bank accounts
Maintain clear and audit-ready documentation
Partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and external advisors
Translate audit and regulatory requirements into clear financial deliverables
Support responses to regulators, banks, and other external stakeholders
Improve and document accounting and audit-support processes
Provide guidance and quality review for accounting staff or contractors (if applicable)
Ensure efficient execution without unnecessary complexity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial operations
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and audit processes
Experience managing or coordinating external audits
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
Preferred
Experience with crypto / digital asset accounting is strongly preferred
