Ashton Potter is seeking a Business Development Manager who will be the driving force behind identifying pipelines for new business growth, including new markets, products, and business opportunities. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, developing sales strategies, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the business which include conducting market/vertical research, identifying new opportunities/verticals, developing related business plans, and establishing new customers
Develop and nurture relationships with prospective customers to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business
Create and execute strategic plans to expand the customer base and meet sales targets within new verticals
Collaborate with internal teams on product development to align strategies and tailor solutions for customers
Prepare and deliver sales pitches, proposals, and presentations, and negotiate and close deals, including contracts and pricing agreements
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track pipeline activity, and report on business development performance
Represent the Company by attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows and networking with potential partners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
Proven record or knowledge identifying pipelines for new business growth, including new markets, new distribution channels, or new products
Experience in sales, marketing, or a related field
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Creative analytical person who thrives when presented with a challenge
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Exhibits professional demeanor and people skills
Ability to work independently, be proactive, goal-oriented and a team player
Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Direct experience with managing customers and teams to keep everyone on track
Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
