Responsibilities
Review and analyze complex business processes, system requirements, and data specifications
Serve as the primary designer for complex software components across one or more subsystems
Build, test, deploy, and document scalable, high-quality software solutions at the project or program level
Assist in the creation of software engineering strategies to identify and mitigate technical risks
Lead and participate in peer reviews of code, requirements, and technical designs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and quality across deliverables
Track, document, and communicate development status, including metrics and progress updates
Champion timely and collaborative resolution of defects and technical issues
Lead or co-lead internal process improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance development practices
Mentor and guide junior team members on project-level tasks and best practices
Ensure adherence to technology standards, security controls, and internal policies
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, story refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews
Support production releases and post-release activities as needed
Qualification
Required
Senior-level full-stack development experience
Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., Angular, React, Vue, or similar)
Strong experience with relational databases
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including building, testing, and deployment automation
Hands-on experience writing unit and integration tests
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including updating and maintaining environments (e.g., AWS or equivalent)
Experience delivering high-quality enterprise software in a collaborative team environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to high standards of quality, security, and maintainability
Willingness to collaborate both in-person and virtually to achieve team and organizational goals
