Responsibilities

Responsible for calendar management, travel arrangements, and processing expense reports
Maintain executives’ contacts for business development purposes and assists with management of leads development
Assist with the coordination of promotional material for business development
Coordinate internal or client meetings, special events, and travel arrangements
Record time details and billable expenses to facilitate billing and other accounting procedures
Work directly with members of the finance billing team to proofread and edit billing narratives for invoices sent to clients and tracking accounts receivables; this may require direct outreach to clients for timely processing
Responsible for assisting with conflict checks, generating engagement letters, and creating correspondence files
Create, organize, and maintain the administrative structure for each project (LAN files, “hard” files, document storage, project set-up, and closure)
Provide document management support
As needed, provides support for recruiting initiatives, expert development, marketing events, practice areas or other corporate initiatives
Compose and process routine correspondence
Proofread all written materials

Required

2+ years of directly related experience, in a professional services firm preferred
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new applications/tools used office or firm wide
The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm
The ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions
The mindset to provide superior service
Exemplary attention to detail, highly organized, flexible, and able to work effectively under pressure
The ability to commute to our office in Washington, DC, to comply with our hybrid work policy of 2-3 days per week in office
High School Diploma or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
