Responsibilities
Greet and seat residents, present menus to residents, and inform them of daily specials and any other dining messaging
Treat all guests in a kind, courteous, and professional manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests' expectations
Review and be familiar with residents’ dining restrictions
Assist with clearing dishes, pouring water and coffee, and serving meals as needed
Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
Interact with guests as they arrive and leave the dining room to ensure a positive dining experience
Manage the carry out and delivery order process, as well as the reservation system for the dining room
Maintain high standards of personal and dining area cleanliness (wash hands, change gloves, etc.), sanitation, and safety standards
Assist with all other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Supervisor
Qualification
Required

Regular attendance; defined as being on time and present to all scheduled shifts, for the entire shift

Preferred
Prior host/hostess experience in the hospitality industry preferred
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
Working knowledge of dining etiquette
Knowledge of proper food service sanitation techniques
