Investment Banking and Capital Markets Intern

SVCV Partners is building a global cultural conglomerate focused on luxury, media, and retail. They are seeking an Investment Banking & Capital Markets Intern to gain hands-on experience in capital markets execution, particularly in supporting the Tokyo Pro Market IPO process, working closely with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing materials related to SVCV’s Tokyo Pro Market listing process
Support coordination with investment banks, advisors, auditors, and legal teams
Help organize and review IPO-related documentation, disclosures, and filings
Assist in building and refining financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses
Support scenario modeling related to capital raises, market positioning, and growth strategy
Help analyze portfolio companies and investment structures
Support relationship management with banks, brokers, and capital markets partners
Assist in preparing investor-facing materials, pitch decks, and briefing documents
Conduct research on comparable public companies and market benchmarks
Research capital markets trends, listing requirements, and regulatory frameworks (Japan-focused)
Support internal strategy initiatives related to capital structure, funding, and expansion
Assist leadership with ad hoc financial, strategic, and operational analyses

Required

Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
Strong interest in investment banking, capital markets, IPOs, or private equity
Solid understanding of financial statements and basic corporate finance concepts
Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets; financial modeling experience is a plus
Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and discreet with sensitive information
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Preferred

Prior experience in finance, consulting, banking, or startups is a plus but not required
