2026 Content Marketing Summit: Platform Lead

Digital Collegium is seeking a Platform Lead for their 2026 Content Marketing Summit. The role involves ensuring the functionality, accessibility, and compliance of the conference platform delivery system, while serving as a technical expert and providing support for the committee and conference attendees.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Be the go-to technical and functional expert in the selected conference platform
Participate in any needed platform evaluation and selection process
Onboard and train the committee on how to use the platform, from both an organizer and attendee perspective
Configure the platform to support program tracks/rooms/presentations and other conference activities, including the call for proposals and registration form
Populate presentation sessions with videos and other materials
Populate the platform with conference branding and messaging (in coordination with the Marketing and Communications team)
Serve as second-tier support for questions about platform and conference delivery
Update the Conference Platform FAQ web page(s)
Assist with writing and sending of pre-conference platform access instructions
Assist with platform accessibility compliance
Coordinate with the vendor as needed for conference support (except for account/billing)
Coordinate conference-wide messaging and updates about platform use
Assist with conference setup
Attend all committee meetings
Facilitate an environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds

Required

Membership in the association, which can be fulfilled upon application. (Free general membership for higher education professionals would meet this requirement.)
A detail-oriented person who can stay on top of multiple responsibilities
Previous experience with audio-visual equipment and technology
The ability to coordinate and communicate needs with vendors and host facilities
Ability to develop secure code; volunteers may gain this knowledge after appointment through Digital Collegium-provided secure coding training

Preferred

Previous experience managing the technology of a professional event
