The ideal candidate will be technically strong and get a lot done – you've worked on services that are highly available, scalable, and redundant
You understand that simple systems are easier to operate and troubleshoot
You can balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements
You will contribute to platform definition, platform development oversight as well as in house development, design reviews, system integration, performance testing and characterization
Qualification
Required
6 to 10+ years of experience in software development
Experience with distributed systems
Experience with the design of major features at enterprise or cloud scale
Experience operating high-scale services
Ability to drive projects and tasks independently
Ability to provide technical leadership for development teams
Strong technical skills
Experience working on services that are highly available, scalable, and redundant
Understanding of simple systems for easier operation and troubleshooting
Ability to balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements
Experience in platform definition, platform development oversight, in-house development, design reviews, system integration, performance testing, and characterization
