The role involves various administrative duties, promoting business services, and ensuring high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities
General administrative duties including being first point of contact for customers, both in person and answering the telephone/emails, portraying an excellent company image to encourage repeat business
Take orders accurately including associated administration, inputting the details onto the computer system
Be proactive in promoting the full product range (cross promotion) to all customers by identifying customer needs
Liaise with customers assisting with enquiries, requests and concerns, resolving any issues in a timely manner
Invoicing
Various other activities associated with a busy transport office
Work alongside colleagues to share experience and knowledge to provide customers with a high level of service delivery
Providing support to colleagues in the logistics department and to management when required
Ensure the office areas are kept tidy and the notice board up to date
Qualification
Required
Confidentiality is of the utmost importance
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with confidence to liaise and influence at all levels
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong organisational, planning & problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Strong team player with the ability to work to own initiative
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Proficient IT skills with working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel with a high level of accuracy and speed when inputting numeric data
Preferred
Experience in invoicing would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given
Previous experience in Waste Management / Skip operations is desirable but not essential
