Responsibilities
Partner with product owners and business partners across finance, sales, business units, HR, and legal. Learn their needs and turn them into data science projects and solutions
Design, develop, and implement predictive models, machine learning models, statistical analysis, and data mining techniques to address business challenges
Analyze large and sophisticated datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to extract valuable and actionable insights
Build and deploy data visualization dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights to business collaborators across different levels
Research and explore new data science techniques, including generative AI and large language models, to enhance business processes and decision-making
Contribute to data governance and infrastructure: Help maintain and improve our data infrastructure, ensuring data quality and integrity
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years as a Data Scientist or related role
Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a solid foundation in statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning (supervised & unsupervised)
Proficient in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), SQL, and data manipulation tools
Experienced in data extraction, cleansing, outlier detection, and handling missing data across large datasets
Experience working with large-scale data and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Experience with data visualization tools
Experience applying generative AI and large language models (LLMs) within business contexts
Proven ability to combine datasets across business functions
Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly convey complex insights to non-technical collaborators
Preferred
8 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a related role
Prior experience working in a high tech manufacturing environment
Desire to work in a complex and fast paced environment
