Responsibilities

Provide overall direction and monitoring of the CIP Projects for the Structural Support Section
Oversee the development of the CIP program for the Structural Support Section
Coordinate and participate in the consultant selection process and contract negotiations
Supervise and coordinate the development of the justification and supporting cost documentation for projects utilizing Federal funds
Oversee the construction support for the implementation of the project improvements

Required

At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four year college or university with a bachelor's degree in an engineering specialty
Three (3) years of registered professional (post-bachelor's degree) structural engineering experience, included or supplemented by one (1) year in supervising or having responsibility for an engineering operation or function
Possession of a valid license as a professional structural engineer in the State of Hawaii
Valid Hawaii State driver's license (Type 3/automobile), as required
