Responsibilities
Perform and review general ledger accounting activities for U.S. and Canadian entities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Support and participate in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financials are accurate
Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple legal entities
Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data
Assist with internal and external audit as needed
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies and support compliance efforts
Demonstrated ability to embrace digital tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a shared services or multinational environment
Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/S4Hana), Reconciliation tools (Blackline)
Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
Team player, cooperating with direct and remote teams with an end-to-end service delivery mindset
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed, cross-border team environment
Demonstrated ability to embrace digital tools
Preferred
CPA or equivalent certification
Public Accounting/Big-4 Accounting experience a plus
