Responsibilities

Manage complex tax and accounting engagements for high-quality clients
Prepare federal and state tax returns, including fiduciary returns, for high-net worth individuals, privately held businesses (partnerships, C-Corp & S-Corp) and non-profit entities
Review and prepare compiled, review and audited financial statements
Participate in new business development initiatives
Develop and cultivate professional client relationships

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience encompassing progressive scope and responsibilities
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, time management, client service and PC skills including MS Office and accounting software proficiency (Thompson Reuters CS, QuickBooks both Desktop/ Online versions, Drake Tax Software and related products, proficiency are a big plus)
Ability to professionally lead tax and accounting engagements, identify complex accounting issues and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred

CPA license preferred, but not required if candidate possesses solid public accounting experience
Prior experience with fiduciary returns or developing new business is a plus
