Responsibilities
Vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation with responsible teams
Deploy and manage EDR
Review Firewall requests
Research and assess newly released vulnerabilities
Assist with incident response and investigation
Assist with GRC assessments
Create alerts in SIEM based off data from various security tools
Qualification
Required
Ability to communicate vulnerability information to non-security personnel
Working knowledge of web applications
Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL
Strong understanding of networking (Nmap tool, Wireshark, and vulnerability scanning)
High School
Preferred
Experience performing searching in SIEM
Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
Experience with NIST 800-53
