Responsibilities

Complete assigned duties as part of the accounting close process. Apply knowledge of accounting policies and procedures to assigned tasks which include recording journal entries, and performing research and analysis among other duties

Perform analysis and reconciliation through system queries, research, investigation of reconciling items and resolution

Analyze, interpret and communicate to supervisor any action items or variances that are identified in the month-end close and analytical process as appropriate

Assist in accounting and reporting activities and special projects as assigned

Perform other duties as necessary

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in AccountingBachelor's degree in FinanceProficiency with ExcelAttention to detailOrganizational skills

Required

High School diploma or GED and four (4) years professional experience in accounting, including two (2) years in prolong intellectual instruction (certifications, instructed training, OR on the job training, etc..) in Accounting or Finance

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and two (2) years professional experience in accounting

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area

Proficiency with Excel
