Technology - Back-End Development II
Scalence L.L.C. is a leading IT staffing firm, and they are seeking a Technology - Back-End Development II professional. The role focuses on Informatica ETL development and administration, requiring expertise in database management and cloud migration, primarily within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities
Must have 5+ years of experience with Informatica ETL Administration activities like installation/configuration and support as well as ETL workflow development
Web Service Hub (WSH) exposing the workflows as web services
PowerCenter/PowerExchange
Mainframe VSAM and Db2 integration with Informatica workflows
Enhancements, moving to Informatica cloud
Database experience is required
Previous exposure with IICS is highly preferred
Any cloud migration experience is a big plus
Experience with Informatica web services development would be ideal
No mainframe experience needed… just an understanding of mapping of data sets is needed
Previous experience within the financial services industry is a plus
Pittsburgh is the preferred location with Lake Mary is the secondary option
Relocation is an option if candidate can be onsite day 1
Interview process: rounds 1/2 via MS Teams with a panel then final round is onsite in Pittsburgh, New York, or Lake Mary (based on candidate’s location)
Database concepts and integration with Oracle, mainframe, and Salesforce
Understanding and writing complex SQL queries by using advanced SQL functions
Good debugging skills
Good experience in understanding the business/functional requirements
Must be a team player and must have experience working with a large team
Ability to work within a team and lead database efforts and to document customer requirements, translate into technical designs, and explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with AWS Glue is a plus
Experience with version upgrades and migration from on-prem to Informatica Cloud is a plus
Experience with financial services, banking applications, and/or mortgage-backed securities is a plus
This role will focus on the ETL Informatica portion of the team’s tech stack
3+ year of experience (if experience translates well into this role)
Combination of developer/administrator
70% developer/support, 30% administration (must be willing to perform this role as necessary)
Experience PowerCenter and PowerExchange to connect to mainframe (version 10.5)
PL/SQL queries
Will use the following databases: Oracle, DB2, VSAM, WebServices
Ability to understand database/structured models is highly preferred
Team is possibly transitioning from Informatica to cloud (AWS Glue is a nice to have)
Mortgage backed securities/financial services industry experience is highly preferred
Contract to hire is possible but not promised… can possibly consider contract-only candidates
Onsite 4+ days per week in either Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY
Offer contingent upon candidate relocating to client site during onboarding process and be onsite day 1 of the assignment
2 rounds of interviews: technical/code review for round 1 and in-person interview for the second round
