Responsibilities

Managing cashier clerks and performing a variety of accounting, utility billing and collection functions

Providing customer service; handling customer complaints and concerns, and other duties as required

Supervising utility billing and collections functions; ensuring excellent customer service; supervising and evaluating staff

Reviewing reports for accuracy and making adjustments as needed; preparing and mailing out service bills; maintaining records of returned checks; preparing journal entries and logs; preparing letters to customers of returned items; collecting monies for returned items; and balancing worksheet to general ledger

Providing assistance and support to other divisions within the department as needed
